Our Team

The Pastoral staff team is led by the Executive Pastor. This team oversees the day-to-day ministry and operations of the church. These staff serve the congregation and are responsible for the development of the spiritual life of the church.

Pastor Steve & Stacey Gibb

Pastor Steve Gibb is originally from Carlisle, PA and has been married to his best friend, supporter and encourager, Stacey, for more than 30 years. They have three adult daughters: Stephanie, Beki and Dori; each of whom is married to a wonderful husband. Between them all they have provided Pastor Steve and Stacey with nine grandchildren. Before becoming Senior Pastor in 2009, Pastor Steve served CLCC as an Assistant Pastor for 13 years and as an Associate Pastor for 7 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Practical Ministry from Wagner Leadership Institute, as well as a Certificate in Christian Ministry from Elim Bible Institute. Pastor Steve is currently an Area Rep for Elim Fellowship (E.F.). He has both administrated and spoken at several E.F. Men’s Retreats for a five-state area. Steve has been on several Missions Trips to various countries including Ivory Coast, Mexico, Honduras and Paraguay. He and Stacey are also Co-Directors of a Bethel Sozo ministry team. Pastor Steve has a passion to see all in the body of Christ step into their callings, anointings and giftings; functioning not only within the four walls of the Church but also affecting their communities for Christ as well.

Stacey Gibb has two master’s degrees and teaches gifted children in the local school district. Being married to Pastor Steve, raising three daughters and now being “Mimi” to nine grandchildren has all been part of that adventure. She is our Worship Director, playing a variety of instruments and singing. Stacey is also one of the directors of our Bethel Sozo Ministry. She enjoys mentoring and encouraging young mothers, but her real passion is to see people set free and enter into the Presence of Jesus. When you visit CLCC, you may hear her laughing – from the sanctuary – while you are out in the cafe. She enjoys life and she enjoys people!

PASTOR KURT KIMMEL (Associate Pastor)

Pastor Kurt Kimmel grew up in Boiling Springs, PA and graduated from West Virginia University. He and his beautiful wife Trisha have been married for over 20 years and have two awesome sons, Ryan and Andrew. Having served as youth pastor for several years at CLCC, Pastor Kurt is currently associate pastor on a part-time basis and is ordained through Elim Fellowship. Pastor Kurt has a strong desire to see people fall in love with Jesus more and more, in addition to being released into their destiny and flowing in the plans and purposes that God has for their lives.

BARRY VAN HUSSEY (Co-Lead Pastor)

Pastor Barry Van Hussey II grew up in Ridgeway, Virginia. There he lived with his father, mother and sister until attending Elim Bible Institute and graduating in 2004. From there he went to Valley Forge University and received a Bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministry. Since graduating in 2007, Pastor Van has married his wife, Stephanie, and has had 4 adorable children. He has also served in many different capacities for ministry including youth pastor, assistant pastor, children’s director, and Jr. Camp Director. His heart is to enable and edify the church to be effective Christians to the world.

STEPHANIE HUSSEY (Co-Lead Pastor)

Pastor Stephanie Hussey grew up here in Newville and is one of Pastor Steve’s daughters. “Pastor Steph” serves at CLCC by helping to lead worship, preaching, and working with children’s ministry. She graduated from Elim Bible Institute in 2004 and is now a licensed minister with Elim Fellowship. She served as the assistant pastor in a church near Scranton, Pennsylvania for 4 years before moving back to the area. Now she and her husband, Pastor Van, live in Newville with their four young children.
